With 6 precision grooves to handle various cable sizes, The sleek ergonomic design allows you to open a fiber jacket or buffer tube without damaging the fiber. This tool is designed for use on the ofs ez-bend 3.0 mm cable and works great on PPC semi-flex 3 mm cables. It also works on Corning's outdoor Altos loose tube, microduct minixtend HD and minixtend cable with binder less fast-access technology, ofs ez-bend 3.0 mm cables, and on their indoor/outdoor freedom and LSZH loose tube cables having 1.4, 1.7, 2.5 mm buffer tubes. • Product 2: Ring blade is easily adjustable using the adjustment knob. Rotate the knob toward the "+" sign to increase cutting blade depth and rotate the knob toward the "-" sign to decrease cutting depth
• Product 2: Once depth is determined open jaw, insert cable, rotate tool around cable 3 times, open jaw and remove cable, pull off jacket
• Product 2: Slitting a cable: First select which V groove is needed on the V block, we recommend using the small V groove for cables 3 mm or smaller and use the large V groove for cable larger than 3 mm
